Lon Hampton brings low-glamour, high-value stability to New Mexico’s special teams
Lon Hampton is the kind of **long snapper** every good football roster needs: a specialized, high-reliability piece whose value comes from precision, consistency, and avoiding mistakes rather than box-score volume. Publicly available team coverage confirms he is part of New Mexico’s 2025 roster pipeline, but detailed game-by-game performance data for a snapper is typically limited, so the best read is that his appeal is *dependability* and role clarity. If you need a specialist who can quietly help drive punt and field-goal operation efficiency, Hampton fits the profile.
