Ace Escobedo brings veteran Penn-line grit and proven pass protection
Ace Escobedo is a seasoned Penn offensive lineman whose profile is built on continuity, toughness, and reliability rather than flash; in the 2018 season he started all 10 games at left guard, logged 565 snaps, and allowed just one sack while helping a line that ranked No. 12 in the FCS in tackles for loss allowed per game and No. 20 in sacks allowed per game. His background also shows leadership chops—he was a multi-year captain in high school and earned academic honors—so he looks like the kind of cerebral, steady trenches piece coaches trust to keep the pocket clean and the run game on schedule.[1][2][3]
