Albany DL with Untapped High School Potential, Limited College Impact
Joe Halasy, a 6-5, 248-pound Brooklyn native, flashed 'Manimal' intensity in 2017 high school highlights, drawing D1 offers from Albany and others, but saw minimal college action—appearing in just one 2021 game vs. URI with no stats, earning a CAA Honor Roll nod. No recorded production through 2021 and no recent updates suggest he may have left the program post-spring 2021; his raw size and motor make him a developmental project for teams needing depth, but lack of college tape raises questions on translation to higher levels.
