Alex Hobbs brings steady two-way guard play and veteran value to Boise State
Hobbs is a dependable, experienced Boise State guard who has shown he can score efficiently, handle the ball, and contribute as a secondary playmaker; in the 2019-20 season, he averaged 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while appearing in all 32 games, and he previously earned Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year honors. His best differentiators are consistency, versatility, and toughness: he has been a high-minute rotation piece, a 1,000-point career scorer for Boise State, and a player coaches could trust in multiple roles.
