Simone Edmundson brings size, reliable free-throw touch, and low-error minutes for NCCU
In her 2021-22 season at North Carolina Central, Simone Edmundson played 23 games and averaged 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in limited minutes, while ESPN tracked a 46.7% free-throw rate and modest turnover volume. The appeal is not gaudy scoring; it is a true center body who can absorb contact, provide interior depth, and stay within her role without forcing mistakes. For a team needing size, positional physicality, and a steady bench post option, she profiles as a functional fit rather than a high-usage engine.
