Tennessee’s low-volume punter with a live leg and local roots
Morgan is a Tennessee punter from Oneida, Tenn., who has logged limited college work so far: in 2021 he averaged 38.5 yards on 4 punts with a long of 55 and a 38.8 net. He’s a compact 5-11, 200-pound redshirt freshman in Tennessee’s system, which suggests developmental upside more than a proven résumé. The draw here is his local fit, consistency potential, and field-position value if his leg strength translates into more volume; the concern is simply the tiny sample size, so he’s more of a watchlist name than a finished product right now.[1][2][3]
