Steady floor general with real playmaking chops
Devezin’s calling card is control: in his Marist career he posted 9.2 points and 4.0 assists per game with 47.5% shooting, and in the 2008-09 season he was among the program’s leaders in efficiency and distribution. He’s the kind of guard who can organize an offense, protect the ball, and make teammates better rather than chase empty volume. The upside is a composed, pass-first point guard with enough scoring touch to punish mistakes; the tradeoff is that he wasn’t known as a high-volume shooter or explosive scorer, so he fits best on a team that values decision-making and pace control.
