A longtime frontcourt presence with international roots
Kata Katanich is a former UNCW women’s basketball center from Baja, Hungary, whose profile is more about experience and interior size than headline-grabbing stats; UNC Wilmington lists her on its all-time roster, while available statistical records show limited minutes and modest production during her college run. Her differentiator is the international background and the kind of true-post presence that can add depth, practice value, and physicality to a roster. If you want a low-usage big who brings maturity and can help stabilize the paint, she fits that mold.
