Reliable SIUE guard with elite free-throw touch
Corey Wickware stood out for SIUE as a steady, scoring-capable guard with a proven shooting skill set, highlighted by leading the Ohio Valley Conference in free-throw percentage in 2011-12 at .864 and ranking among the program’s notable three-point threats in multiple seasons.[2][10] He brings a compact 5-11 frame and true point-guard experience, which suggests pace control, ball handling, and shot creation rather than pure size-based impact.[6][7] For a team that values dependable guard play, he profiles as a strong fit when you need efficiency, composure, and a player who can punish defenses at the line.[1][2]
