Jason Scrempos brings veteran size and pass-rush pop to Montana State’s defensive front
A 6-foot-6, 299-pound graduate-transfer defensive lineman, Jason Scrempos is the kind of long, physical edge/body-up front presence that can bother quarterbacks and muddy run fits. In his 2019 Montana State season, he flashed real disruption with 31 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks, plus two pass breakups and even a blocked field goal. The big differentiator: he’s experienced, versatile, and productive in a limited window, with enough length and competitiveness to fit a team that wants disruptive DL play rather than just eat-block space.
