Brandon Rovinelli is a spin-first Columbia RHP with a live arm and real out-the-bullpen value
Brandon Rovinelli enters Columbia as a right-handed pitcher known for spinning the ball well, and his profile points to a compact, athletic arm with some deception and strikeout upside. In the 2026 season, he did not see any action, so the appeal is still projection: a 5-foot-9 sophomore who fits as a smaller, high-effort competitor rather than a pure power arm. He was praised out of St. Joseph HS as a pitcher who can manipulate the ball, and if Columbia wants a reliever who brings intensity and bat-missing traits, he’s a name to watch.
