Delaware State’s long-snapping battle is tight, with Michael Dunham in the mix
Michael Dunham is listed with Delaware State’s football program, but the latest publicly available roster snapshots show the Hornets’ long-snapper spot is crowded and fluid rather than clearly settled for the 2026 season. That matters because long snappers live on precision, consistency, and nerves-of-steel more than box-score flash; the value is in clean operation on punts and kicks, fast reloads, and reliability under pressure. If you’re evaluating fit, Dunham is the kind of specialist who earns a roster spot by being mistake-free, coach-trustworthy, and steady in the hidden-yardage game.
