Efficient, versatile forward who brings winning IQ and glue-guy toughness
Knowling is a reliable, high-IQ forward whose value comes from efficient scoring, steady rebounding, and doing the little things that help winning teams; in the 2024-25 season at USC, he played in 27 games with five starts and reached double figures three times, including an 11-point, 5-rebound effort against No. 20 Purdue. He has a history of strong finishing and all-around production from his Yale years, plus the versatility to contribute as a secondary playmaker, but he is more complementary than featured and best fits a roster that needs smart, physical frontcourt depth rather than a primary shot creator.
