Liberty’s Record-Breaking QB with Elite Pocket Presence and Unmatched Intensity
Stephen Calvert, nicknamed 'Buckshot,' is a former Liberty Flames quarterback who cemented his legacy as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards (6,731) and touchdowns (49) across the 2016–2019 seasons. Standing 6-3 and 175 lbs, Calvert is a pro-style pocket passer known for his pinpoint accuracy, calm under pressure, and relentless game-intensity—traits that made him a 2017 National Player of the Week after a 585-yard explosion. Though he retired from college football, his differentiators include elite decision-making, minimal rushing reliance (-151 yards), and a personality that thrives in high-stakes moments. For any team seeking a disciplined, data-driven QB with championship DNA, Calvert’s legacy proves he’s a top-tier fit.
