Elite Leg Strength & Ray Guy Watch List Punter for Western Michigan
Nick Mihalic is a standout punter for Western Michigan, averaging 41.4 yards per boot with elite leg strength and consistency that earned him a spot on the 2022 Ray Guy Award Watch List[1][8]. Beyond his 41.2-yard career average and 242 total punts, Mihalic differentiates himself with an intense, reliable personality and a knack for landing 11 punts inside the 20-yard line, showcasing strategic precision over raw power[4][6]. His 206-pound frame (per Kohl's) and 6'0" height provide durability, while his 13 punts of 50+ yards and 79-yard career long highlight explosive capability[4][7]. With no reported injury history and a proven track record of splitting kickoff duties, Mihalic is a high-intensity fit for any team needing a punter who combines elite leg strength with tactical accuracy and mental toughness[1][8].
