Sokoya McDuffie brings veteran size and proven pass-rush pop to UConn's front
McDuffie is a big-bodied, experienced defensive lineman for UConn at 6-5 and roughly 296-318 pounds, and his best college season came in 2021 at Old Dominion, when he played all 13 games and posted 28 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks. He adds length, power, and interior disruption, with a history of being productive when healthy and on the field. For a team needing a seasoned, physical DL who can collapse pockets and hold his ground, he’s a legit fit; the main question is whether he can consistently translate that veteran frame into steady weekly impact.
