MTSU's Gritty Walk-On LB from a Stellar High School Pedigree
Louis Kemp, a tough and physical linebacker who walked on at Middle Tennessee State University after transitioning from fullback in spring 2000, embodies relentless effort and blue-collar intensity—perfect for teams needing a hard-nosed defender who always brings max hustle. His high school dominance (10-2-1 record with 6 pins in wrestling, WPIAL champ; 100+ tackles, 3 sacks, Allegheny Co-Defensive POY as Freeport's 5-11, 215-lb beast) hints at NFL scout intrigue for special teams or depth, though limited college stats post-2001 preview suggest he's a developmental gem for gritty, high-motor fits.
