Matt Shine brings **NFL-ready size** and a physical **run-stopping** profile to Saint Francis U’s defensive line
At **6-2, 240 pounds** and listed as a **senior**, Matt Shine has the body type of a sturdy interior/edge defender who can hold up against the run and add toughness to a defensive front.[3] Saint Francis’ program notes from 2024 point to a defense built on strong fundamentals and disruptive play, which fits a player like Shine if he can consistently win with leverage, effort, and discipline.[1] He’s a good fit for a team that wants a hard-nosed DL who can anchor, play physical football, and bring reliable depth rather than just chase splash stats.[1][3]
