David Pugh brings proven Virginia Tech toughness and interior disruption
David Pugh is a former Virginia Tech defensive tackle whose college résumé includes 13.5 sacks, 170 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and an interception, a strong profile for an interior defender who could win with effort, leverage, and playmaking instincts rather than just size.[1] He also earned ACC honors at Virginia Tech, which supports the view that he was a high-impact, respected front-seven piece at the college level.[6] If you value a disruptive DT who can flash in both the run game and as a pass-rush presence, Pugh fits that mold.[1][6]
