Mike Archie brings steady WR depth and practice buzz to NIU
Mike Archie appears to be a depth wideout rather than a headline stat machine, but Northern Illinois has noted him among the healthy receivers, and he flashed in a spring scrimmage with 7 catches for 107 yards, which suggests reliable hands and willingness to compete for every rep[7]. The main reason to care is fit: he looks like the kind of receiver who can earn trust through consistency, toughness, and availability rather than pure explosiveness. One caveat: the search results do not provide recent, season-by-season college production or national rankings for a current NIU Mike Archie, so his exact current role is unclear[7].
