Ball-hawking Lafayette DB with elite playmaking pedigree
Austin Eldred is a defensive back for Lafayette whose calling card is turnover creation and coverage disruption: his college bio says he finished his varsity career with 103 tackles, 10 interceptions, 32 pass breakups, and 3 forced fumbles, and he also played for Team USA as an under-16 freshman[4]. That profile suggests a competitive, instinctive defender with real ball skills and the kind of versatility coaches like in a secondary piece, especially if they want a player who can attack the ball rather than just react to it[4].
