Shakira Gresham brings size, poise, and second-chance grit to the Devilettes backcourt
In the 2024-25 season, Mississippi Valley State guard Shakira Gresham appeared in 11 games and averaged 7.1 points per game while shooting .455 from the field, showing efficient scoring in limited minutes[1]. She also stood out for her work on the glass and around extra possessions, with team coverage noting her role in second-chance opportunities against Ole Miss[2]. The fit is clear: she looks like a guard who plays with effort, toughness, and enough polish to help a team win the possession battle more than the flashiest stat line suggests[1][2].
