rugged Miami (OH) center with a defensive edge
In the 2009-10 season, Miami (OH) center Adam Fletcher was a sturdy interior piece: 6-foot-9, 241 pounds, with career production that included 3.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 48.9% shooting, while coaches also recognized him as a top defensive player and team captain[1][2][3]. He stood out more for toughness, leadership, and rim protection than box-score fireworks, which makes him the kind of glue-guy big who can stabilize a frontcourt and fit a team that values physicality, accountability, and defense[1][2].
