David Smith brings depth and trench toughness to Arizona State’s defensive front
David Smith is listed with Arizona State, but the available team and stat pages do not show current 2026 production or a clear individual stat line yet, so the best read is as a depth-piece DT whose value comes from interior size, leverage, and workmanlike run defense rather than splash stats. For a team, that profile can be useful if you want a dependable, physical plugger who can absorb contact and keep the linebackers clean—but he appears more fit as a rotational piece than a headline disruptor right now.
