Jordyn Holmes brings efficient, two-way backcourt upside to Alabama State
In the 2025-26 season, Jordyn Holmes has shown flashes as a steady guard for Alabama State, including an 8-point outing against Texas Southern and an active defensive presence with 2 steals in that game. Her fit looks strongest as a versatile, competitive backcourt piece who can defend, move the ball, and give the Hornets useful minutes without forcing the action. The big question is upside: she looks like a high-energy connector guard more than a volume scorer, which makes her valuable if a team wants toughness, discipline, and low-drama reliability.
