Pacific’s steady guard architect who ran the offense like a coach on the floor
Amy VanHollebeke is a proven lead guard for Pacific whose game was built on control, distribution, and composure: in the 2007 season she helped pace a Tigers attack that ranked No. 1 in the Big West in scoring at 69.2 points per game, and she averaged 3.41 assists while Pacific shot .409 from the field; in the 2008 season she still delivered 3.80 assists per game, third-best in the Big West. She was a two-time captain and earned All-Big West honorable mention, which tells you the Tigers trusted her to set the tone, manage pressure, and elevate everyone around her.
