The Jackrabbit Glue-Forward Who Brings Rebounding, Defense, and Academic Steel
Ellie Thompson’s South Dakota State profile points to a rugged, high-IQ forward with a long track record of production: she finished her Jackrabbit career ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in rebounds, blocks, offensive boards, and field-goal percentage, while also serving as a dependable starter who rarely missed games. Her value goes beyond box scores — she was praised for consistency, toughness, and steady two-way impact, plus she paired that with standout academic habits. If you want a reliable frontcourt piece who does the dirty work and doesn’t shy from contact, Thompson is exactly the kind of player coaches trust.
