Ilyaas Motley brings veteran ball skills and proven playmaking to Ohio’s secondary
In the 2019 season, Ilyaas Motley started 10 games at left cornerback for Ohio and posted 38 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception, and 6 pass breakups—clear signs of a feisty, assignment-sound cover man with real ball production. He also flashed against the run and as a disruptive, high-effort defender, which makes him more than just a “stay in your lane” corner. If you want a competitive, experienced CB who can tackle and create turnovers, he fits the mold.
