Evan Allen brings Miami (OH) a steady, defense-first guard with real old-school grit
Evan Allen is a 6-1 freshman guard from Dayton, Ohio, who joined Miami (OH) in February and arrives with a reputation for pressure defense, quick hands, and steady backcourt poise; his high school résumé included 3.4 steals and 4.0 assists per game in his senior season, plus multiple league Defensive Player of the Year honors. The biggest reason to care: he looks like a glue-guy defender who can tilt possessions, play with edge, and fit on a roster that values toughness over flash.
