MaKenzie Spruiell gives Samford a disruptive two-way backcourt edge
Spruiell is the kind of guard who matters beyond the box score: a tough, active two-way presence who can pressure the ball, create secondary offense, and fit into a high-energy team identity. Samford’s 2025-26 stats show a balanced, perimeter-oriented offense and a competitive SoCon profile, which makes a guard with defensive disruption and lineup flexibility especially valuable. For a team looking for intensity, versatility, and someone who can compete every possession, Spruiell looks like a strong fit.
