Wyoming freshman LB Boston Gable adds depth and upside to the Cowboys' linebacker room
Boston Gable is a 2026 freshman linebacker for Wyoming who has been mentioned by the program as part of a talented, deep group entering fall camp, which signals early trust and developmental upside. He’s listed at 6-foot-0 and roughly 190-216 pounds depending on the source, and his profile suggests a compact, physical build that fits a downhill, high-motor linebacker role. With no major stat line yet, the bigger story is projection: Wyoming clearly sees him as a useful long-term piece with the toughness and frame to compete for snaps.
