Dan Ryno brings classic Navy linebacker toughness
Dan Ryno is a Navy linebacker who shows up as a sturdy, veteran presence at 6-1, 225 and has been listed on the Midshipmen depth chart in the 2001 season as part of the weakside linebacker rotation, which points to trusted, assignment-sound play rather than flash. His appeal is the Navy fit: physical, disciplined, and built for a defense that values instinct, leverage, and reliability over headline stats. If you need a grinder who can handle the dirty work and keep the scheme clean, Ryno is the kind of dependable fit that coaches love.
