a veteran, special-teams-first Hawkeye with glue-guy value
Henry Marchese has been a versatile Iowa piece, playing both receiver and defensive back early in his career before becoming a special-teams contributor and team captain-type presence; Iowa’s roster history lists him at DB, and team coverage highlighted him as a key blocker on punt coverage who helped swing the 2021 Nebraska game. He fits the Hawkeye mold: tough, disciplined, and low-maintenance, with leadership and football IQ standing out more than flashy stat lines. If a team wants reliability, toughness, and a proven special-teams edge, Marchese is the kind of guy coaches trust.
