All-State Second Team IF with Elite Plate Discipline and High-Intensity Drive
Delaney Madson, a 5-4 sophomore infielder for South Dakota State, earned All-State Super State Second Team honors in the 2024 season by producing 49 hits, 4 home runs, and 42 RBIs with a 0.448 on-base percentage. Her differentiator is elite plate discipline (0.667 OBP in 2026) combined with a relentless, high-intensity playing style that loads bases and pressures defenses beyond what stats show. She brings a competitive Lincoln Southwest HS pedigree, no injury history, and a personality that elevates team intensity—making her a perfect fit for teams needing a disciplined, high-energy infielder who consistently creates scoring opportunities.
