Ashlee Mells Brings SFA Experience, But Current Playing-Role Data Is Limited
Ashlee Mells is best known for her guard play at Stephen F. Austin, where she earned Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year honors while helping the Ladyjacks win 23 games in the 2011-12 season; she later moved into coaching, which suggests a strong feel for the game, fundamentals, and leadership. The biggest differentiator here is basketball IQ and experience, but current season-by-season performance data for a present-day Ladyjacks role is not clearly available from the accessible sources, so this profile reads more like a value-add veteran presence than a stat-sheet headline.
