veteran Washington State post who brings size, savvy, and low-drama reliability
Emma Nankervis is a 6-3 center whose value has come from being a steady, team-first interior presence for Washington State rather than a box-score bully. In the 2022-23 season, she played 16 games off the bench and averaged 1.0 points and 0.9 rebounds in 5.9 minutes, shooting 42.9% from the field; earlier in her Cougars career, she showed more activity with 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game as a freshman before an injury briefly interrupted that season. The fit question is simple: she’s best for teams that want size, discipline, and a dependable locker-room piece, not a high-usage scorer.
