Long, lean SMU linebacker with high-upside range
Cole Horton profiles as a classic upside play: at 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, he brings unusual length, range, and developmental ceiling to SMU’s linebacker room. Reliable recruiting/profile sources describe him as a high-upside fit rather than a finished product, with his frame and reach standing out more than any box-score number. If you want a linebacker who can grow into space-eating, coverage-friendly versatility, Horton is worth the look; if you need an immediate stat-sheet wrecking ball, he looks more like a patient investment than a plug-and-play star.
