Veteran LSU post presence who brings size, rebound juice, and low-mistake rim work
In the 2007-08 season, Mesha Williams was a 6-3 center who gave LSU efficient interior minutes, averaging 4.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 54.9% from the field. Her calling card was simple but valuable: physical post play, dependable finishing, and enough defensive presence to help protect the paint. She was a proven veteran with starting experience, which matters when you want stability more than flash. If your team needs a tough, reliable big who does the dirty work and won’t hijack possessions, she fits the bill nicely.
