Nate Evans brings proven takeaway-making instincts and all-CAA level play to William & Mary
Nate Evans stands out as a ball-hawking, production-backed defensive back whose 2024 season at Delaware featured 16 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a team-high six pass breakups, and an interception, earning All-CAA Honorable Mention. He appears to fit best as a competitive, alert coverage defender who can disrupt throws rather than simply rack up tackles, which makes him valuable in a secondary that needs playmakers. The main reason to care: his recent film and award recognition suggest real instinct, toughness, and upward momentum, not just raw measurables.
