Shantel Pointer brings Wichita State a steady, experienced guard presence
Shantel Pointer is listed in Wichita State’s roster/history as a former Shockers guard, but current 2025-26 stat lines were not available in the gathered sources, so the cleanest read is that she’s a name tied to the program rather than a clearly documented current on-court impact player. What stands out most from the available info is her experience and guard background; if she’s on your radar, the appeal is likely composure, familiarity with the college game, and backcourt utility rather than flashy box-score production. In short: check roster confirmation and recent game logs before treating her as an active rotation fit.
