Luke Pappano brings left-handed upside and local-pop sleeper value to Xavier
Luke Pappano is a 2026 freshman outfielder at Xavier from Cincinnati’s Moeller High, listed at 6-1, 175 and hitting left-handed, which gives him real developmental appeal as a local, multi-tool athlete with room to grow. He was also noted by Prep Baseball Report as a confident Xavier fit and a former top Ohio left-handed pitching prospect, hinting at athleticism, arm talent, and a competitive edge that can translate beyond the box score. He looks like the kind of player a coaching staff can build with, not just plug in.
