Ripken Reese is a switch-hitting, extra-base threat for Kent State
In the 2026 season, Kent State infielder Ripken Reese has been one of the Golden Flashes’ most productive bats, hitting .282 with 11 home runs, 43 RBI, 16 doubles, and a .906 OPS in 56 games. He brings real juice from both sides of the plate, showed conference-impact pop early with a .533 week that earned MAC Player of the Week honors in 2025, and has handled a big workload while also flashing versatility around the infield. He’s also battled through two ACL surgeries, which makes his return and production even more impressive.
