Experienced DB who brings proven ball-hawking production
Laquan Middleton has a track record as a playmaking defensive back, with Northern Michigan’s 2014 season showing 19 solo tackles, 2 assists, and a team-leading 7 pass breakups in 11 games[1]. That profile suggests a defender who can compete at the catch point, read routes well, and make quarterbacks pay for testing him—traits that matter more than raw tackle totals in the secondary[1]. If you want a DB with demonstrated coverage instincts and active hands, Middleton’s best-case fit is as a turnover-creating, coverage-first piece.
