Ex-CMU Guard Now Dominating PBA with 16+ PPG for Converge FiberXers
Deschon Winston, the 6-4 dual US-Filipino guard from Central Michigan (5.9 PPG, 2.3 APG in 2019-20), has evolved into a PBA scoring machine, averaging 16.67 PPG and 3.92 RPG on the Converge FiberXers per official stats, with sharp 36.1% 3PT shooting in 2023-24. His flashy handles and transition flair—seen in UAAP highlights—make him a dynamic, high-energy creator who elevates offenses. No major injury flags; at 27, he's a proven pro import with international polish, ideal for teams needing versatile scoring punch off the bench.
