Experienced Ball State linebacker with a blue-collar edge
Tony Schott is a seasoned Ball State linebacker whose value comes from experience, toughness, and special-teams-style reliability more than eye-popping stat lines. In the 2021 roster info, he was listed at 6-1, 223 pounds and had already been in the program since 2018, with his lone documented game action coming in 2019 against Toledo after a redshirt season and earlier non-playing seasons. His background suggests a disciplined, high-effort defender with family football roots, which usually translates to dependable preparation and a team-first mentality.
