veteran UNC Wilmington guard with low-usage, steady-backcourt value
In the 2025-26 season, Josh Sheets is a depth guard for UNC Wilmington whose profile is more about steadiness than splash: ESPN lists him at 2.0 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game with a 32.2% field-goal mark, suggesting a role player who can handle minutes without needing the offense built around him. He’s the kind of fit teams like when they want a mature, low-drama guard who can plug gaps, defend, and keep the ball moving, even if he isn’t a headline scorer.
