Rusty Chiles brings veteran guard size and North Texas roots to the Mean Green backcourt
Rusty Chiles is listed as a 6-2, 165-pound guard and a North Texas product, which gives him the kind of local familiarity and positional length coaches like in a backcourt piece. Publicly available search results did not surface recent season-by-season stats or a current scouting blurb, so there isn’t enough verified data here to honestly grade his 2026 form, but his profile suggests a guard who fits a system valuing toughness, mobility, and steady playmaking rather than flashy usage. If you’re evaluating him for your team, he looks like the type of guard worth a deeper look for fit and competitiveness, not just box-score noise.
