Caleb Ellis brings veteran UNC size, polish, and low-usage efficiency
Ellis is a 6-foot-5 graduate-student wing/guard who gives North Carolina a mature, steady, team-first option rather than a high-volume scorer; in 2025-26 he averaged 0.4 points, 0.1 rebounds, and 55.6% shooting in limited minutes, while his Tar Heel bio notes 30 games played and 12 career points. His value is more about poise, program familiarity, and reliable depth than box-score production, making him a fit if you need an experienced locker-room piece who can absorb a role, defend without fuss, and keep the offense organized.
