high-usage Villanova guard who stuffs the stat sheet and controls games
Coyer is the kind of guard coaches trust because she combines scoring, playmaking, and toughness: in her Villanova peak, she led the team in points, assists, steals, and minutes while starting every game, and was praised as a Big 5 Player of the Year caliber impact player. Her differentiators are her ball security, defensive activity, and ability to handle heavy minutes without fading, making her a fit for a team that needs a reliable floor general rather than just a shot-maker. The main watchout is that her best-known production comes from her Villanova prime, so current-value evaluation should be anchored to up-to-date role and health context.
