Monmouth’s workhorse RHP who can take over a game
In the 2026 season, Alec Couture emerged as Monmouth’s go-to starter, finishing with a 6-3 record and delivering a complete-game win over Charleston in the CAA Championship, where he allowed just two runs and struck out six. He’s a strike-throwing right-hander with real stamina: in 2024 he led Monmouth in ERA (3.98), innings pitched (83.2) and strikeouts (65), and he’s shown he can miss bats with a nine-strikeout outing and handle heavy innings. If your team wants a durable, battle-tested starter with postseason poise, he’s a strong fit.
